Dr. Wood was born and raised in Ocala, Florida. He received his undergraduate degree from FSU; fun fact, he was there during the 2013 National Championship and got to see Jameis play! He graduated with honors from Optometry School at NOVA Southeastern in the Davie and Ft. Lauderdale area. He has spent the last 4.5 years working at MyEyeDr. in general routine care but looks forward to growing and learning more with Eye Associates.
When he isn’t at work, he is a big college sports, NFL, and NBA fan, but he especially enjoys watching FSU play. Dr. Wood is a foodie and mixologist, and you can find him cooking, enjoying local restaurants, and mixing up specialty cocktails. Additionally, he is a big music lover who has attended hundreds of concerts and festivals, and he stays active by playing basketball and working out.

This is a beautiful and very organized and professional. The wait time was minimal(5 minutes after check in). The people made sure everything was understandable and clear and they are very down to earth. This was my first time there but I'm glad to call this place my home for anything with my vision. 10/10 would definitely recommend

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Wood. The office is efficient and clean, and the staff is very welcoming. Dr. Wood took the time to thoroughly explain my eye exam results and answered all my questions without rushing

The tech there named Tia was an absolute joy! She was so upbeat, polite, friendly, always smiling. The receptionist Mary was so sweet. Very patient as my husband and I registered. Very knowledgeable. The two ladies were so exceptional!!
